Germans love the Athlon and Duron I just got my new issue of PC Professionell (bessides c't one of the most popular PC magazines in Germany). They did a survey among their readers about their CPU preferences: 1. CPUs currently used 48% Intel Pentium II/III 21% AMD K6-2/K6-III 13% AMD Athlon 9% Intel Celeron 9% Others So far, so good. But now the interesting part: 2. CPUs planned to buy 47% AMD Athlon 19% AMD Duron 32% Intel Pentium III 2% Intel Celeron 3. Opinion on the best price/performance ratio 44% AMD Athlon 35% AMD Duron 14% Intel Pentium III 7% Celeron As I said: Since the introduction of the Athlon Germans love AMD CPUs... Andreas
