unborn is not a person with rights, we have enough trouble sticking up for the rights of the born. Definitely not true. It's certainly worth while defending the innocent unborn. I'm amazed how people who throw their lives away have more rights than those who are simply attempting to live. Some people have a screwed up way of looking at things. Just because an abortion may be convenient doesn't make it right or "a right". More thought should be put into the consequences of having sex. Responsibility has to be taken before the fact. I can see the points from both sides of the story. Certainly there is validity in both arguments. But to simply say that an innocent little child fighting to become born, has no rights, does not sit well with me. Especially when it was never it's fault that it was conceived in the first place. we have enough trouble sticking up for the rights of the born. But we still do it. We stick up for a lot of things. Save the Whales, Save the Baby Seals, Save This, Save That. They will stop someone from building on a site where birds are nesting, but they will quickly say that an unborn baby has NO rights... I've never taken a stand on this issue. I'm not sure what is the right thing with respect to all the grey area. I'm certainly not a card carrying Pro-Lifer. However, I can't simply let a blank statement like "The unborn is not a person with rights" go unanswered. Sorry for getting on my soap box so early in the day... -ClapOff
