Since I got both Paul Ma and Mechanical Method, visiting me on my analysis threads, I thought I should pay a visit to Ayn Rand thread hoping to find what Alan Greenspan got out of her friendship? Greenspan said that he got from her a sense of responsibility to the poor due to her philosophical influence; can we explain what Alan really got for the "Fed speaks"(a kind of language which is always inflation or deficit which no one can stabilize) which he is most famous for? Unfortunately, Mr. Greenspan met his waterloo, when tax collection exceeded budget spending. And then inflation threat is always way ahead of our actual spending, based on strong dollar resulted from our buying power. Would Rand have this foresight? Or would Greenspan ever learn?
