Howdy Dowdy: You brought up a good point

Mr. Gates has probably been entertaining that O/S on a chip idea long before you or I even heard of the INTC chip. He is restrained at the moment from obtaining a chip company by the DOJ debacle, but if MSFT ever gets in to producing it's own chips, it would open up a whole new area of revenue. Gates, being a software man, would probably hire a good chip man to oversee that operation. I wonder how the DOJ would react to idea. JH
