You don't get to Carly's position without being able to witness first hand the disconnect between what is publicly reported quarterly relative to what is witnessed first hand from a position as high as hers was. Carly learned the game because it is a cultural issue at LU. "At least she was smart enough to get out when she knew what was hitting the fan. If you have factual evidence to contradict this, please let me know" No, she had the good sense to go be a CEO with more money, responsibility, and prestige. It had nothing to do with LU. Now, if she'd turned down a CEO job at LU for the same at HWP, we could talk about her being "smart enough".
