MM. I know you have done well--Congratulations!! You were smarter than me in your reading of NAZ distribution this spring -- and as a result, I or WE have been through Hellish times. It's your money and it's a free country, but I feel some responsibility to tell you that I think you are making one huge mistake!! Do me one favor and read through this info if you haven't already.
Here is a concise case for the benefits of QCOM's CDMA over the GSM/GPRS/W-CDMA path.
These are the best resources we have and may be useful in your discussions with others.

The Technical & Economic Case Against the GSM/GPRS/Edge/W-CDMA System.

In Summary, this graph (by Dr. Jacobs of QCOM) of the capacity of 10 MHz of spectrum in
mixtures of
voice/data utilization says it all. Read vertical axis (Erlangs) as voice capacity and Horizontal axis
(KBps) as
data capacity. In every case capacity of QCOM's CDMA far exceeds that of the
TDMA/EDGE/W-CDMA path.

Further, the GSM/GPRS/W-CDMA upgrade path involves multiple expensive discards of both
phones and
system.
Whereas the QCOM CDMA phones and system are forward and backward compatible. Thus,
operators that
upgrate from GSM or TDMA to W-CDMA will incurr huge equipment costs compared to thse
adopting
QCOM's CDMA.

Technical Info about fitting QCOM's CDMA and W-CDMA in 10 MHz, 15 MHz and 20 MHz of
spectrum.
Note that the W-CDMA system fails to include "Guard Bands" which are necessary to prevent
contamination
of adjoining spectrum.
