And we all know what happens AFTER bad news no longer has a significant effect on stock price. :)

It will take a couple more days for the Wall Street genius crowd to figure it out. Goldman from AG Edwards called for an interim rally starting this week. He said it would be better to have a huge selloff so it would be considered a reversal but he was willing to take a rally and then determine direction later.
Also, there is a very well respected WStreeter(name escapes me) who will be on CNBC today who was quoted yesterday on CNBC that bottoming was finishing up and a rally was expected as we move closer to actual earnings reports.
And look at CA yesterday after bad news. I would love to see a SOX rally today in the face of the Merrill comments.
