There's a history section - make sure this is set to a non-zero value (mine is set to 20). If it is non-zero, hit the "Clear History" button. I'll be getting ATT Roadrunner next week, so I'll see if the same thing happens to me.

By the way, the colors of the links and visited links are set by SI. If you're curious - do a View | Source, and look at the line that says:
<body bgcolor="#FFFFFF" text="#000000" link="#003399" vlink="#996600" >

The link= sets the regular link color, while the vlink= sets the visited link color. The HTML 4.0 reference says that this usage is deprecated, and should be replaced by style sheets.
