QCOM, the mighty Q - now this is my idea of a value tech - been holding from the last time it went below 60.

I know my views on this may differ from many, but value techs in my opinion should incldue those techs that have been beaten down in price, but still have strong growth potential.

I don't see much value myself in any of the boxmakers - PCs have become commoditized. I don't see much value in "old tech" - stocks like NOVL, CA, BMCS, etc. And while I used to have a decent view of telecoms, I have been questioning the value in them as well for a variety of reasons.

For those of you who do see value in some of these areas, I am curious as what makes them a good pick to go up in the near future - other than they are selling at a low price right now
