. . . . . The Phoenix . . . . .

One thing that has become increasingly clear is that there are certain stocks, which have been consistently bucking the tech trend over the past few weeks. One of them is QCOM another is VZ. But the best example of all is our Tech Hero, RIMM. 40 points higher in the past 3 weeks.

"How many held on to this winner, through the worst of times?" You needn't answer. I only played in and out, but didn't hold. Now lets see how many clear-cut examples you can find of stocks which have consistently trended higher since September 21?

I started you off with 3. OK, here's a 4th. . .RMBS.

Fund managers will often begin to buy certain stocks when the market is selling off, because Individual Investors like us, do not recognize them. . .and cause them to spike prematurely. This way, they are able to buy-in daily as their investors demand.

Rising from the smoke screen of a market selloff, we'll call these trend busting stocks a "Phoenix". So far RIMM is a Phoenix. As is VZ, QCOM and RMBS.

I would love to have a list of 1 dozen Phoenix stocks by the end of the day.
