So NEC expects Itanium to sell for two years after that?> Ironically, when McKinley is released, it will be the brand-new "unestablished" platform, while Itanium will be the proven "tried-n-true" platform. Just because McKinley is out doesn't mean Intel will stop selling Itanium-based servers. Then again, maybe a portion of those 2,000 servers will be based on McKinley. Then HP will also have their own lines of McKinley-based servers to complement. Tenchusatsu
