Gore is going for the meat of America (middle class) with his tax cut, Bush is going for tax cut for rich and poor.

Actually I think Bush is going for a tax cut for just about everyone. The reason why Gore harps on "a tax cut for the rich", is because they will get a bigger tax cut in absolute terms. There rates will not be cut more but because they pay more taxes a small relative tax cut can be a large amount of dollars. Gore is going for a middle class tax cut but it is more specific and "targeted" then that. It basicly exludes the upper middle class, and a big part of
it is not lower rates but tax breaks if you do certain things or fall in to certain categories.

Military - Bush wants to spend more money to make it stronger. This answer keeps me away from Bush. Who knows how
much he'll spend...

I don't think it will be a whole lot more. The political support for a huge buildup is not there nor is the practical necessity. Bush talks abiut modernizing and improving readiness, not a big force increase.
