Let me start off by saying that I subscribe to E.C.'s newsletter and have invested in his Investment Club. There is just NO way that I would believe that he is short on the stocks he is alleged to have "bad-mouthed". It's unfortunate that some people are being so literal and are having a difficult time appreciating his wry sense of humour. At the very worst, what I can see happening is that, after making a lot of money for strangers with his advice and analysis, he may be feeling hard-done-by for not having made as much himself. I therefore can understand why he would now be reluctant to help everybody else to load up on quality stocks that he has helped to identify without proper reward or acknowledgement. Or, at the very least, a surly disposition.
I don't own any PFG, and could care less whether it goes up or down, but seeing as E.C. isn't able to be here to defend himself, perhaps I can respond to one of those questions which you are doggedly holding up as proof that E.C. is a flake: "Why did he never provide ANY explanation for Barricks continued involvement if the property was as poor as he said it was?" My response is to remind you that Barrick was also, at one time, pretty hot-to-trot with Bre-X . . .
(Whoever decides to flame me about this provocative observation, please remind yourself of the context in which it was expressed: it speaks to Barrick's judgement NOT the quality of PFG's property).
Sincerely, Juraj (Yuri) Krajci |
