Sonki: OK, I am thinking like a fund manager now. Hey, I feel so peppy all of a sudden. But you haven't told me about the SOX LEAPS yet. At least for chips I don't have to worry about security problem, so I want to buy 2000 SOX LEAPS, and I won't nickle and dime with these MM, over whom you will never win! My SUNW option was not filled because of the same game they played with you on MSFT. I just thought that once SUNW breakout of 35 it would be at least 70, and I might as well buy in and go back to sleep for three years. But then they'd won't let you go easy. So, heck with it, I can wait a bit. Every winner has its humble days. Haven't you bought in DELL or CPQ at $0.25 ten years ago? How about MSFT at $0.128? Remember 640K RAM? 8086? When I was in school, we'd rather use Z80. 8086? What is that?
So many of my friends joined the then small INTC ~1987 after graduation, and these are what they said: "This is not bad even compared to starting with a start-up company. Not bad at all!" and "I regret using the cash to buy this house!" But while their peers went east to IBM and Bell Labs to get their Nobel prizes, these wiseguys stay put in the valley and really have had great fun out of it. Nobody would have imagined that. Not even the INTC insiders! These are the mothers of all modern blue chips. So many. Save the cruise, gal! You can buy 0.5 contract of LEAPS with $400!
PS: You know what my problem is? I need to have a dozen of kids, then I would really forget about security! Know of any parents wanting to spare their kids? Just need 12 of them. Please have a sign up sheet ready. Serious. And then I need 12 companies like DELL or INTC. Then all 12 of them will be covered, at least with Berkely if not Stanford. God have mercy, no bear markets for 20 years! (Note: No NT security mentioned!!) |
