Two DDR Mainboards From Transcend [7:16 am] Rat
Lost Circuits [Links: lostcircuits.com and lostcircuits.com ] has put up some info concerning new DDR mainboards from Transcend. The company is developing two mainboards on two DDR chipsets. Here they are:

VIA Apollo Pro266 based board. This is an ATX mainboard equipped with 1 168-pin DIMM slot supporting up to 1GB PC133 memory and 3 184-pin DDR slots supporting up to 3GB DDR SDRAM. Besides, there are also 5 PCI, 1 ACR and 1 AGP slot. The mainboard is also equipped with an on-board AC97 software sound, 4 USB ports sound and supports ATA/100 interface. Besides, it allows changing the FSB frequency via BIOS Setup in the range between 66 and 150MHz, which is a good thing for overclockers.
ALi MAGiK 1 based board. This is an ATX Socket A mainboard equipped with 3 184-pin DDR slots supporting up to 3GB DDR SDRAM. It also supports 200/266MHz FSB. Besides, there are 6 PCI and1 AGP slot. The mainboard is also equipped with an on-board AC97 software sound, 4 USB ports sound and supports ATA/100 interface. Like the previously mentioned board, it also allows adjusting the system bus frequency via BIOS Setup.
