Did you notice that there were three pink lines on the chart? Each one is drawn across the high of an important swing. So what you do is say to yourself: "IF we can get through this level one at X, THEN the next target is at Y."

That's what I mean when I talk about using technical analysis to formulate IF=>THEN scenarios. IF this resistance is broken, THEN it should be new support on the way to the next level.
