I don't care if we have to spend twice as much on our educational system to get it healthy...and I don't have any children..yet. Without a good public school system, this country is screwed.....we will watch the decline of the Roman Empire one more time. ted I think education is crucial but I certainly but I certainly would care if we spent twice as much money on it. We all ready spend a lot with out good results. Throwing more money at an unreformed system is not the answer. Why do you think the US needs a public school system. I think a strong argument can be made for public funding of education but public funding does not require a government run system. Tim
