There is a relative lack of interest in gold in the developed Western
countries. Elsewhere, particularly in Asia, people have an intense
interest in it. It should also be pointed out that Miramar has a lot
of copper through its indirect ownership of Agua Rica and other NNO
properties; and copper just hit another high today. NNO also has a
sulphur property.
Interest in gold in the West is at a long-term ebb, but the cycle will turn eventually. This is not necessary for Miramar's stock
to go up, though it would help.
