I see your point. The stocks of the building materials producers could not have dropped this far just on the basis of the OWC story. NB that the heavy capital goods manufacturers such as IR and CAT have not been doing well for nearly two years. Also, the following stock is one that I view as a "canary in the coal mine" for the commercial construction industry. It's quite obviously in a bear market:
