The defense costs alone are running hundreds of thousands of dollars per MONTH for even the smaller asbestos defendants. It's quite the cottage industry - a phalanx of lawyers (one for each of several defendants) sitting around in multi-day depositions reading pre-formatted questions. Lots of paper shuffling too.

After the insurance runs out...Well, we've now seen what happens after the insurance runs out.
