There's a big article on venture capital firms in the October 24 issue of Business 2.0 magazine. idealab! ranks #3 behind Matrix Partners and Charles River Ventures, and ahead of such powerhouses as Austin Ventures, Oak Investment Partners and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. There's a full-page profile of Bill Gross, too, calling him "the fount of new ideas" and "the best known of the investors profiled here." The profile has a baseball card motif, and the back of his card says "Bill leads the pack with a massive median annualized return of 562%."

To Stayhealthy management I say, not a bad choice.
