That's probably true, FJ, but by the same reasoning, then Gore sounds pretty whiny to complain about the cameramen breaking the rules and showing his tacky behavior.
Personally I blame Lehrer for allowing Gore to interrupt, claim too much time, and be generally obnoxious. Several times, GW looked to Lehrer as if saying- "Hey- aren't there rules here?"
Another alpha male argument? I dunno- to me it's just expected good gamesmenship to play by the rules upon which you previously agree.
