Of course the threads we are discussing here are not in any way shape or form that. Which is
why I mentioned k's thread as the worse case.

I continue to have great respect for the active members of both threads. I do not want to
suggest any implication with k. because I just happened to mention it here. If anyone wants to
suggest otherwise, my butt is sticking out here for 30 lashings!

Rob,

I have a great respect too. I went back and read a lot of posts for a diversion. Not becasue I had spare time but rather to take my mind off the market before I made a stupid trade.

There were a lot of posts I did not link. There were so many. The opinions on various stocks were vastly different. the difference between then and now is one can see how the stock played out meaning having some hindsight.

There were a couple of posts that stuck out as quite intuitive although possibly counter productive in stock direction. The time Amazon was creating the ACN and prior to that Zshops, Liz stated she did not have a lot of confidence in portals. Liz appears to miss the AMZN run based on that althoughshe was correct about the failure of any significant revenue from the Zshops and the ACN. Not liking portals kept he out of YHOO which was trading far lower than now at the time split adjusted. I did not refer to any of the posts by KIS since so many had to do with his buys and sells of puts and calls and many time they contradicted each other. KIS was consistant on his belief none of these stocks would ever do well. Mark had his first six digit gain in a single day during one of the posts. William had a great day too whatever day that was.

The most revealing issue was most of us did not understand the business model of many of the infrastructure firms at the time. I am not menaing Cisco but the content server providers, etc. Many mutated their models anyhow in time. INKT was likely the least understood be most.

I have said enough.

Glenn
