mh, the problem with nutso valuations is that near misses mean 60-70% wacks out of the stock price. dell was risky at much higher valuations, people rolled the dice on this bet (and it was a bet at much higher prices) and lost. pc rev growth has been declining for some time. it is now catching up to dell. the trend is that rev growth is shrinking, period. who follows the trend? as for assuaging the taste of crow... biz.yahoo.com count up the dollars mr dell & company just sold to whoever was buying... ;-) i'll bet it buys a mighty tasty chaser for that crow...
