I was the most touched when Gore pointed out a little old lady in the crowd who was having a hard time paying for her prescription drugs and was often seen on the side of the road as she picked up cans and bottles. In Gore's second sentence he also mentioned that she went to a lot of trouble to drive her Winnabego cross country so she could attend the debates.
