Ed,

I don't really see this as Management's problem. They've got an emerging biotech business to take care of. The IR group, whether it's Elayne, Tamara or Karen, has been more responsive and more helpful than most of their peers throughout the business sectors that I've been exposed to. While we're blessed with QLT's management, as Warren Buffett has frequently said, "Only buy shares in companies that any idiot could run because, sooner or later, one will."

Incompetent media or investment community practitioners are a way of life. Any investor that accepts what comes out of these sources without doing any due diligence deserves the investment result obtained.

IMO, it is utterly insane to expect a free information source to look out for my financial wellbeing as rigorously as I would. One only needs to scan the headlines in the financial press to assess how many criminals are attracted to, and employed in that industry.

Take care,
Ian.
