You know I might make a lot of enemies for saying this, but I think Canada and Mexico should just merge with the US. Then we examine all of the laws and regulations and take the best of all three and make one country -- The United States of North America. Each Mexican state and Canadian province becomes a state within the union.

It'll never happen, of course, but I have advocated this for 20 years.

Sorry for the off-topic rant.
