Have you been following the discussion asking "where are the 1.3/1.4GHZ Tbirds for December?"

I think Jerry is making the rounds saying "there are enough for one or two of the major OEMs that want these chips for its high end business / workstation machines - but not enough for everybody."

Knocking on Compaq's door, knocking on HP's door, knocking on Gateway's door, even knocking on Dell's door. "Who wants to top out at 1.3/1.4GHZ, who wants to stay stuck at 1GHZ?"

Do you think he'll get any takers?

If Compaq and Gateway have high end business lines and workstations that run at 1.1GHZ to 1.4GHZ and Dell has high end business lines and workstations to run at 866MHZ to 1GHZ, do you think Dell will have trouble making its (recently lowered) numbers?
