The question might also be asked if most of Gates' philanthropy is within the US. What difference does it make? 1.3 Billion people live on less than one dollar per day and 3.1 Billion live on less than 2 dollars per day. The clear need is outside of US borders. Philanthropy is like investing; you put your money where it makes the most difference. BK
