I emailed LUCENT and asked when they would announce earnings for this quarter. They replied "The Fourth quarter earnings have not yet been determined. They most likely will be announced in the third or fourth week of October. Going forward with earnings, they are usually announced about a week before the record dates of each dividend period. For example: Lucent paid a .02 dividend on September 1, 2000. The record date for that dividend was July 30, 2000 and the earnings were announced on July 20, 2000."

Anybody want to pick a date in October?.....ANON
