Personally, I'd rather see the government subsidize the Unix server industry than the oil industry, even though I still have many ties to the latter. I'm a little surprised to hear you advocate using American tax dollars to provide subsidies to a particular industry, especially one with as global a reach as oil. The only real way to encourage domestic production in any big way is to let the (domestic) prices rise. JMHO. Charles Tutt (TM)
