Absolutely. If you look at the Gore abomination his type thinking is how our code got to over 10000 pages. He is the "big government" mentality. Micromanage society by giving a credit here or there if you live and do as Washington wants you to do. Then you get a little of your money back. Gore even plays games that are a little disgusting. He talks about a 10000. tax deduction for a child going to college. That is true but if you have two children the second one or any other of your children do not qualify. Also, there (and I can't remember what it is) is another credit you normally receive that is removed so you really only get around 7500. after that. It may be the dependent deduction for the child. Bush is simply proposing giving all taxpayers a break and let them use the money as they see fit in their personal lives. Which is superior? In my mind, there is no question Bush offers a far superior program.
