Good evening, Shalom.
Interesting verse. "12Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech—13unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away. 14But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ." 11 Cor. 3:
Moses, as a minister of the Old Testament, was not at liberty to tell Israel of God's saving grace. They were so high-minded that God decided they would have to learn the "hard way" through works and the "Law." Paul was able to share the true glory of Christ with us in the New Testament, calling the old a "Ministration of death, written and engraven in stones."
Paul says that the blindness of the Jews remains until this day in the reading of the Old Testament.
Where Paul speaks of grace in all plain-ness of word, it is still misunderstood by those who practice the ways and traditions of the Old Testament.
"1For it is written: “As I live, says the LORD, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.”£ 12So then each of us shall give account of himself to God." Romans 14:
All will give confess and give account some day, but to no avail.
