I think your analysis is sound. Hammer pointed out the other night that the biggest potential problem for Gore-Lieberman is a major snafu with the stock market. I think he's right. I must confess something, though. I think a lot of these so-called "undecideds" that you see in groups on CNN and MSNBC are already "heavy leaners" one way or the other. Also, in many cases, the true undecideds are (1) not too bright; (2) don't bother to keep abreast of what's happening; (3) never read a newspaper. So who really knows what these people respond to.
