Well stated.
I agree with you.

I asked this question last night: If a person murders a pregnant woman (and the unborn child dies, too), should the murderer be charged with double homicide?

Good question.

I guess if it was determined that abortion was determined to be equal to murder or a homicide, then the answer would be yes.

If abortion was considered reckless endangerment or some other term, it would be considered 1 homicide & 1 reckless endangerment.

Under the current rules, the baby has the same rights as her appendix...
I assume it's considered 1 homicide and that is all.

If a pregnant woman is the victim in a car accident where it is clearly the other drivers fault, and in result the woman loses her baby, is she entitled to be awarded damages?
If so, then there is "value" attached to that unborn child.
It's more than some sort of object growing inside her.
Why isn't that same "value" seen when a woman walks into abort an unborn child?

Much more emphasis must be placed on education of the consequences of sex to today's children.
Instead they are seeing a clear message that there are none.
Take a pill and get rid of your problem...
Just like a headache...

It just isn't right.
