Ben,

<< LAS-CDMA integrated into 1x EV-DV specifications changes everything >>

Well, if not everything, at least some things. Certainly potentially improves cdma2000 possibilities in China, if convergence can be achieved. DV still quite a ways out, it appears. Hopefully DO is close.

<< No wCDMA in China >>

I like your scenario, and you present a good rationale, but I personally doubt the predicted outcome. I think we will see both UMTS/UTRA and cdma2000 in China when new spectrum is licensed.

Koreas decisions, will, I think, influence the technology decision of some of the carriers in China, for IMT-2000 spectrum.

<< The presumed dominance of wCDMA looses certainty, if not credibility, with this new equation >>

Time will tell.

Certainly is nice to see Qualcomm back over 80. Maybe Mr. Market subscribes your theory. <g>
