COM) 06/10/00 09:07: ENEL, France Telecom reportedly to announce Infostrada buy Monday, Tuesday ENEL, France Telecom reportedly to announce Infostrada buy Monday, Tuesday MILAN (AFX) - ENEL SpA and France Telecom are expected to announce on Monday or Tuesday the purchase of the Italian fixed line operator Infostrada SpA from the Vodafone AirTouch group, the daily La Repubblica said. ENEL will buy the bulk of Infostrada's capital, it added. After the purchase, Infostrada will be transferred to ENEL and France Telecom's joint venture Wind Telecomunicazioni SpA. At a later stage, Wind and Infostrada will merge and keep Wind's name. ENEL and France Telecom intend to float 30-40 pct of Wind. The operation could be achieved in April, the daily said, citing a source close to the talks. pw/cmr
