Very serious, we in the US drive far more than those in Europe due to lack of public transport long distances & in places even almost no taxi service. I'd bet the average cab bill in the western US is far greater than most of Europe. It costs around $115 to get from our house to the Denver airport. I had read the limit in most of europe was not the level they are imposing here, but slightly higher.
