Here's something that some of you might find helpful.

If you're looking for a thread that has been removed from searches because it's been inactive for too long (this happens to me a lot), I've started putting together a list of all threads on SI with thread numbers, names, and links.

It's just the beginning of the list, containing the first 19,900 threads, and the code needs some refinement still, but it's a start. I'll fill out the rest of the list and clean up the formatting later.

It's at sibob.com.

The way I use it is to let the whole page load, then do a Ctrl-F and search for whatever word you think is in the thread name, then click on the link when it finds it.

It's about 2 1/2 meg worth of html right now and will likely be over 6 meg when it's done, so you're going to need to be patient, and *really* want to find that old thread.
