During the debate Gore mentioned his uncle Reginald Gore who was gassed in the Balkans in WWI. It seems that uncle Reginald was never in the army or the Balkans or in France where the gas was used. Now uncle Reginald may have been gassed at a Tennessee still a few times but he wasn't gassed in the Balkans.

Now does this rate as a parable or a story he just made up?
