I did the test and failed. No explanation.
I inserted another Zip disk and repeated the
test. Twice it said there was no disk.
But my Zip drive works just fine and I use
it constantly with QuikSyncII for instant backups.

Some day, when there is nothing better at hand,
I may pursue this. <G>
