LOOK COMMUNICATIONS ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR
Bourbonnais joins Board following Stewart’s departure
Toronto, ON – October 5, 2000 – Michael Cytrynbaum, Chairman of the Board of Look Communications Inc. announced today that André Bourbonnais has been appointed to Look’s Board of Directors. Effective October 4, 2000, Mr. Bourbonnais assumes responsibilities left by departing board member Guthrie Stewart.
Mr. Bourbonnais is currently the Co-Chief Executive Officer, Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of Teleglobe Inc. One of Mr. Bourbonnais’ current responsibilities is overseeing the transition resulting from the pending acquisition of Teleglobe Inc. by BCE Inc.
“On behalf of the Board, I would like to welcome André as a Director,” said Mr. Cytrynbaum. “André’s experience and expertise are valued and the Board looks forward to working with him as Look continues its growth and development.”
Mr. Stewart resigned as a Director of the Board of Look Communications effective September 29, 2000. Mr. Stewart served on Look’s Board of Directors since April 1998. In addition to his position on the Board, Mr. Stewart served as President and CEO of Look from May to October 1999, providing valuable expertise in guiding the company’s growth and strategic direction.
