I've already booked the flight, thanks. Got a fair deal, 300 and change direct from Newark round trip. I thought that was going to be the hard part, not the hotel.

6 Zillion rooms in Las Vegas and not one that will take an Irish-American from Jersey with the name Slevin. What's with that anyway? Vegas is so built up with rooms you would think they could take the populations of NYC, Chicago, or LA without blinking an eye.

The only way this would happen in NYC is during a transportation strike.

<seeing as how it is even farther South than M Bay>

Shows you how long it has been, last time I was there M'Bay was the furthest South. What is the Long Range Plan, to extend the Strip into California?

I'll check the Aladdin, thanks. But the last time I was there was the week they opened Belagio. I may like to give it a try. I think they were building the Venetian across the street at the time....do not recall, there are so many hotels going up and down it gets dizzying.

I did not care for the Luxor because it just did not appeal to me; the look, the motor-inn style rooms, the fact that it was so far down the Strip. It just did not send me. Maybe had I taken a suite it would have that much more appeal, but I'd rather not try it a second time.

M'Bay, well, I'm not so certain I wish to check in on the 20th floor one night and awake on the 15th floor the next morning. The reason they took so long to Open that joint is because they had to stop it from sinking, after all.

NY NY, well, I just do not like the idea of waking up to the sound of a roller coaster. Coney Island is close enough if I wish to experience that thrill. I must say, however, I'm real happy with their casino. Not just because I had a nice streak at their craps tables either.

Well, maybe it's partly to do with their craps tables.

The others are at the Grand, but as long as that is not available then I may spring for Bellagio. It really does not matter too much, I suppose, insofar as most of the time is spend away from the room anyway.
