Yes, I downloaded the patch. All the Jane's material has been deleted from my computer. I have not been into Safe Mode at any time. I wondered about unplugging and replugging the sound card. Would this help? I tried this Simm several weeks ago. Frustrated, I gave it away. Now, my daughter wants me to join her on a live chat board, and I have no sound. Bummer
