"The light, the light, I just can't help myself..." <g> Seriously, though - let's pretend we are non-US central bankers (I know, I know, I would never qualify because I don't like shrimp coctail, but let's pretend anyway) and we have growing domestic inflation and a domestic currency that is being battered all because of the grand Clownbuck. What are our options? Try and prop up the Euro like a bunch of drunken sailors? Sell dollars and buy what (buying gold being out of the question because it would wipe out our frat buddies)? Hope the US equity bubble implodes, slowing the overall economy and sending people from the dollar to OTHER currencies? Fascinating dilemma....
