The Rio has nice rooms but for whatever reason it's way up in price, $180 on Friday, $290 on Saturday. Actually, if I recall the Reno trip correctly, it may only be necessary to find a place to lock my bag up for the first night. I think I left John and Fred at the bar around 5:30 AM after a night full of excitement. Excitement such as cabbing to an all-night pharmacy. Consider that I had been up since about 5 AM EST the day before, and paying for a room was unnecessary. Does McCarran Airport have showers?
