What's OPXS worth to an MRV stockholder? "The maker of optical network components (MRVC: news, msgs) wants to take Optical Access public in a proposed $108 million common stock offering. .....Chatsworth, Calif.-based MRV will retain at least 80.1 percent of Optical Access after the IPO." cbs.marketwatch.com Now assuming MRV gets approval for a tax free distribution of OPXS shares, at a "minimum" for each share of MRV you will get (108M/.2)(.801)/(72.4M)= $5.97 worth of OPXS shares. If MRV keeps more than 80.1% as in the case of LMNE you will get more and if the IPO gets the expected bounce a lot more. duff
