What made you change?" >>>>>>>>>> interesting.....i heard a call similar to this one....it may have been the same one.....you are correct that he says this....his reason....why would people pay for his services if he indexed(newsletter)....also he advocated trying to beat the market with select managers....i havent done the homework so i am not sure how his portfolios have done against their appropriate asset class benchmark.....he has always advocated having part of your portfolio passively managed....since i have listened....and he has included passive inv. choices in the newsletter for yrs.....i think possibly he is more vocal b/c of the runup and the indundation of the public with 7,000 mutual funds +....i think 5 yrs ago we had 2500??...does anyone know the exact figures??.....this is also interesting that he let someone question his position on the air....obviously he has nothing to hide...... part II to follow..... lars
