There will be no bond market on Monday. However, equity markets will be business as usual - somewhat subdued, I am sure.

The VIX almost reached 27 today, highest that I recalled in recent months. Several TA pundits recently declared - and supported with figures - that many major bottoms in the past several years were not associated with high VIX in the >30 range, thus we may have seen a bottom in the making this afternoon, at least partially.
