Somewhere in the South Pacific, Oct 6, 2000 (BS NEWSWIRE) --WR, LB and Associates (Nasdaq:WRLB) today announced that NO preliminary results for the third fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2000 will be released within the near future. President Weaner Rumberger commented, "Given current market conditions we feel it is not in the best interest of our shareholders to make any comments whatsoever regarding the previous fiscal quarter. We will also be filing a NT10Q with the SEC in order to delay any earnings release as long as possible. We, at this time, will not comment on whether we will meet or beat Wallstreet estimates." Following today's announcement WRLB stock rose over 40% in afterhours trading, and received upgrades from several Wallstreet analysts.
